Four-day cycling and vineyard tour in Sweden's Tuscany

Day 1 - Helsingborg
Check-in at Hotel Stadsparken, one of Helsingborg's certified bike-friendly hotels. Here, both you and your bike are welcome! Enjoy a lovely dinner in one of Sweden's cities with the highest density of restaurants. There's something for every palate!
Day 2 - Helsingborg - Ängelholm
After a good night's sleep and a hearty breakfast buffet, it's time to head north to one of Sweden's largest vineyards, Lottenlund Estate, located just 4 km outside Helsingborg city. A beautiful bike ride offering both sea views and serene forest surroundings before open fields stretch out. At 10:30, you'll meet Tina Barthelsen, who has owned and operated Lottenlund Estate for several years. You'll go on a vineyard tour and hear the whole story from dream to reality. You'll also get a peek into the winery. After a stroll among the grapevines, you'll taste two different wines from the estate along with a light lunch in collaboration with Kullasparris. A local tip! A short distance from Lottenlund Estate is Sweden's only licorice plantation. Feel free to drop by and take a look. If you're lucky, you'll meet the owner of Lakritsfabriken; if not, it's still worth seeing. Back to Kattegattleden for the final bike ride of the day, taking you up to Ängelholm and Valhall Park, which is also a certified bike-friendly accommodation. Valhall Park Hotel is beautifully situated in an energizing and tranquil park environment, where you'll check in for the next two nights. After a long day of cycling, it's nice to visit the hotel's Launa relax & spa, a truly relaxing place to hang out for some much-needed relaxation. Here, you can enjoy a jacuzzi, sauna, relaxation pool, and a large outdoor deck in a fantastic park setting. End the evening with a delicious dinner at the hotel's restaurant Nimt, where the large glass partitions provide a pleasant light and create the feeling of being one with nature.
Day 3 - Ängelholm - Vejbystrand - Ängelholm
After another restful night's sleep, a lovely breakfast buffet is served. Then it's time to continue along the coast and Kattegattleden towards Vejby Vingård. A beautiful bike ride offering a landscape characterized by magnificent views of the sea and rolling fields. At 10:30, you'll arrive at Vejby Vingård, where you'll meet the owner and winemaker Jeppe Appelin, who will give you a tour among the grapevines and in the winery, telling his journey from dream to reality. A sensory scent and taste experience of the estate's wines are, of course, included in the visit. After the vineyard visit, it's time for lunch. We suggest cycling down to Strandhugget restaurant, located right by the picturesque sandy beach in Vejbystrand harbor. Enjoy a delightful lunch and soak in the fantastic sea view. 14:00 After lunch, it's time to cycle onward. On a south-facing slope between Båstad and Ängelholm in northwest Skåne, in the heart of Vinlandet Bjäre, lies Ljungbyholms Vingård. In fertile sandy and clay soil, grapevines thrive and produce grapes that are processed into first-class wines and spirits. Joakim and Annika grow over ten different varieties, including Solaris, Phönix, Ortega, Riesel, and Souvignier Gris. Enjoy tasting two wines and snacks.
After Ljungbyholms Vingård, we recommend cycling back on Kattegattleden to Valhall Park Hotel. A tip is to stop at the cozy harbor in Magnarp and have dinner at Bjäre Fisk & Skaldjur while enjoying the wonderful view of Kullaberg and the sun slowly setting into the glittering sea.
Day 4 - Ängelholm
After a good breakfast at Valhall Park Hotel, it's time to check out. If you're traveling by train, it's only a few minutes' bike ride to Barkåkra train station, where Pågatågen stops. From here, you can easily go south to Helsingborg or north to Halmstad. If you have some extra time to spend this day, we suggest biking into Ängelholm and visiting the cozy city center for a nice coffee break or take a walk along Rönne å, which winds beautifully through the city.
We recommend following Kattegattleden and taking small detours to the vineyards.
